Tomorrow is a New Day - Stamp a Scene, Masking Technique

Hello,This is officially my first blog post this year. I actually should have posted this just before new year, because these cards were made as a kick off to welcome 2016. Maybe because of the long holiday effect, I just stayed very relaxed at home not doing many paper crafts and got so lazy to do blogging.

Let me share some photo shoot I took during our holiday. We went to my birth town in central Java for three days with my mother, my brothers and their family. So, big family gathering. It was so much fun.

Back to my original post, one of my crafting goal in 2016 is doing tutorial in my blog and sharing as many techniques as possible. I won't do step-by-step-tutorial yet, but definitely l will in my next posts.

I made two cards this time, with one of them to put in a frame.

I am using the same stamp set and the same technique. The image is Penny Black Etched Branches and sentiment from Wplus9 stamp a New Day.
For the scenery, I started by placing several masking to create the landscape, and sponge the panel with distress inks. I am glad that I found a 2 inches masking tape in local book store. It makes masking technique so easy. Bye to post it notes..LOL..!

Here's the card:

In the end, I know it's late, but I wish you all a happy new year. Hopefully only good things come to you this year. Cheers...!
