Get the most of your Alphabet Dies

For me alphabet dies is one of must have items for paper crafts. It so versatile. You can even create with it as a focal point of your designs. I want to showcase my projects using alphabet dies. I have two from Papertrey Ink-Modern Alphabet (lower case) and from My Favorite Things-LLD Little Letters (upper case). They are both come separately for each letters.

My first card will be this simple die cutting on patterned paper. You also die cut the word on white cardstock and then gather 3 pieces of them to have enough thickness. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey from What's Up collection. I think the collection is discontinued already.

My second card will be emphasize on the negative die cut. Just let the card base take place to form the sentiment.

Next is using alphabet dies as embossing folder. Instead of cutting, run your dies between the embossing plate. In this card, I emboss " HI THERE" on my stamped panel.

Can you see it?. Forgive my amateur photographic skill. I tried several times to get the best picture to show the embossed sentiment, but this is "my best".

Last project is about partial cutting of the alphabet. I wanted to show some tutorial, but again my amateur skill doesn't allow me to do that. Maybe next time. I left 2 mm of the dies behind the cutting plate to have the bottom part of the word remained un cut. So this is the result.

That's all for today. I hope you enjoy my post.
