Tiny Cards

Hello again,
Just a quick post today. I just created these cards last Sunday. And I want to submit this into Moxie Fab World: 75 Creative Card Challenges Week - Make an Itty Bitty Card. The word "Itty Bitty"means that we have to create card that is no larger than 3x3 inch. You can find the link here. It's almost close to the deadline.
Well, my cards are 3x3 inch. It is very small size that you could make 8 pieces of this size from 12x12 inch cardstock. How nice!

Here they are:

I also wanted to enter to Hero Arts January 2013 contest, so I used color combination of orange, blue, green, and grey. After I stamped handwriting stamp from Prima (I forget the name), I blended the background with Hero Arts Shadow Ink I have (Soft Pool, Wet Cement, Soft Leaf), stamp the sentiment with HA shadow ink Cup O' Joe. I surprised when they blend so well as I always use my distress ink for blending.
I pull out my favorite flowers from Hero Arts Delicate Blossom, Blossom Art, and Dogwood. Stamped into Basic Grey patterned paper and did a little coloring with copic. All of the sentiments are from Hero Arts Leaf Print.

Take a look at the detail of every card:

Just ignore the ugly background. This is my homework to create a nice spot at home to take picture.
I hope you're inspired.

Winter theme card

It's been a while I didn't do blogging. Today I want to share my cards I made last weekend. I made two cards to submit to a lawnscaping challenge # 50. We have to make any creations inspired by winter, snow, etc.
And again, I have to observe, improvise how a winter scene could be as I don't have winter in my country.
So here is the first card:

I used Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends as an image. I heat embossed several snowflakes into white cardstock and blended a little bit distress ink from winter seasonal series.

And this is the second card:
I used Lawn Fawn Ornate Ornaments as an image and Hero Arts for the sentiment. First, I created mask at white cardstock, stamped branches with some green dye inks and also heat embossed them with clear embossing powder to visualize snows in a branches. Blended with distress ink.

That's for today. Thank you and have a nice day.

A (late) greeting for new year

Actually, I wanted to make this post just before new year. Just to greet all my fellow crafter a very happy new year. 2012 has been an exciting year for me as I gathered so many friends who has the same interest in card making world. We really make a good friendship that we support each other, give inspiration, and learning together. We do hope that card making can be enjoyed more widely or at least sending greeting card can be a new trend in the coming years.

OK. I won't write any longer. It's time to share my card(s). I made these long time ago (third week of December, I guess). It cost me the whole weekend to make them, but I did enjoy every second of it. I just can't stand seeing those cute magnolia images from the newest collection. I didn't do many tricks, just coloring with distress ink, sometimes embossing, added some glimmer mist, and paper piecing.

Here they are:
You know what? My mother helped my with the stitching here, since I can't use sewing machine. I know, I have to learn one day.

I just own glimmer mist from Tattered Angel. I really like the result, and now getting addicted :)

This time, I practiced my own stitching.

Here are the complete set together:

Also I made tags:

That's all. I hope you like it. Once again: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!, may all the blessing be with you and your family. Sorry, It's a bit late.
